Dun Laoghaire Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic was established in 2008 and promises specific, individualised treatment for every patient and condition. As part of the Sheehan Medical Practice we liaise closely with our GPs to offer you the most comprehensive service and follow up. If you are not a member of the GP practice you are still welcome to attend the physiotherapy clinic and we can correspond with your own GP as necessary.

We offer a caring, understanding and patient centred service that focuses on explanation and education as well as a manual, “hands on” approach to treatment. Any scans, x-rays or referrals will be fully explained and all patients should leave our clinic with a full understanding of their injury or condition. Patients are offered a range of treatment options and a personalised exercise or rehabilitation program will be created to specifically target each individual problem where required.

All our physiotherapists are I.S.C.P. (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists) registered and provide a variety of expertise to ensure all patients’ needs are met.

Registration with I.S.C.P is important as it ensures a standard of professionalism and allows patients to claim part or all of their treatment costs back through Health Insurance or the Med-1 form.
